Within the monthly print and digital magazine you can reserve display advertising space for quarter page, third page, half page, full page and double page spread advertisements. The magazine also has a classified section and an A-Z Supplier Directory.
If online advertising is for you, this website can accommodate various shapes and sizes of banner style advertisements that can be booked for one or more months. You can also enter your company into the Online Supplier Directory.
Once you've had a browse, feel free to get in touch. Email addresses and phone numbers are on the contacts page. There is no 'hard sell', so if you just want to chat to gather information for yourself or others in your company, you can do so safely.

Environmental Pledge
The A4 magazine is printed with vegetable inks on a press that runs alcohol free, on fully recyclable carbon balanced paper sourced from sustainable forests and mailed in a biodegradable bag.
EDITORIAL INFORMATION
HOW TO SUBMIT EDITORIAL CONTENT
To provide adequate time for review, the editorial submission deadline is no later than five weeks prior to the publication date, but earlier is always advisable. Submissions for the monthly magazine should be emailed to both Dan and Phil using the guidelines below.
- Submit your article in the form of an attached text document such as Microsoft Word or paste the article text within the body of an email (or do both, as that’s rather helpful to us).
- The accompanying images should be sent as attachments to the email, ideally jpeg or similar, and high resolution (300 dpi) to ensure we can use them in the print magazine.
- Download links to cloud storage services such as Dropbox / Google Drive are also acceptable, especially for larger file sizes.
Submissions for the website should be made by email to Dan. Ideally submissions should have at least one accompanying image. If no image is available, we’ll select an appropriate one from our library, to use as the feature image.
HELPFUL TIPS
Water Magazine does not charge for editorial to appear within the monthly magazine or on the website. As a result, we receive many submissions to review, and those selected to appear are chosen entirely on merit. Here are some helpful tips that will increase the chance of your article appearing.
- Keep the word count to under 700 words.
- Ideally, write in third person.
- If you choose to submit an article written in first person, attach a headshot of the author, along with full name and job title, so we can byline the article.
- Don’t use ‘salesy’ language, jargon or boastful statements.
- Avoid claims that would be difficult for us to substantiate.
EDITORIAL CALENDAR
Every issue includes news, columns, research, water company projects, new appointments, along with three specific editorial focuses. The magazine benefits from increased exposure due to additional distribution at industry exhibitions and events such as The Water Equipment show, CHEM UK, ESS EXPO and WWEM, plus international media partnerships with events such as WEX GLOBAL, Aquatech, IFAT & BlueTech Forum.
