Stanley Capital Partners (“SCP”) together with Goldman Sachs Alternatives, have announced the appointment of Ed Daniels, Chris Morrison and Kevin Gundersen as Non-Executive Directors (“NEDs”) to the Board of SePRO Corporation (“SePRO / the Company”) where they are joined by Bill H Culpepper, founder and former President of the Company and Doug McKeown, current NED.
SePRO, a market leader in water quality solutions, has embarked on a strategic transformation under SCP’s and Goldman’s ownership leveraging the collective operational transformation capabilities and benefitting from the growth capital support.
The Company is rapidly expanding its technology-driven approach to the environmental health sector, enhancing its capabilities in real-time water diagnostics, restoration solutions and precision water management.
Ed Daniels serves as the Chairman of the Board and has over 30 years of experience in global energy and industrial markets, currently serving as the CEO of Venterra Group, a leading wind energy developer. Prior to that Ed was the Strategy, Sustainability and Corporate Relations Director for Shell Plc and was a member of Shell’s Executive Committee. With leadership roles spanning Upstream, Integrated Gas, Downstream and Technology, he provides a global perspective on sustainability, corporate strategy and operational transformation.
Chris Morrison brings deep sector expertise for the water industry, having held multiple senior leadership roles in industrial, municipal and wastewater leadership. A former Vice President at Ecolab / Nalco, he has advised multiple water sector businesses as well as holding leadership positions at key regulatory bodies, including as Chairman of the Marin Water District and an appointee to the San Francisco Regional Water Quality Control Board.
Kevin Gundersen is currently Vice President of Global Communications and Government Affairs at Huntsman Corporation, bringing a strong background in corporate leadership, government relations and strategic communications. Kevin previously served as Senior Managing Director and Chief of Staff to the President and CEO of Cushman & Wakefield, Inc. Prior to that, he spent six years on the staff of the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Homeland Security.
Doug McKeown brings a wealth of experience in engineering, operations and governance to the board. As a long-standing Non-Executive Director, he continues to draw on his extensive leadership experience, including his tenure as CEO of Woodard & Curran from 2007 to 2020 and as Board Chair from 2009 to 2022, where he helped transform the firm into a national leader with over 1,100 employees. Doug currently serves on the boards of several leading consulting engineering firms: Walter P Moore in Houston, Larson Design Group in Pittsburgh and AET in Minneapolis – bringing valuable industry insight and strategic perspective to SePRO.
