Since the acquisition of Water, Wastewater & Environmental Monitoring (WWEM) Expo by ROAR B2B, 6 months ago, the new organiser says the exhibition is taking shape as part of an impressive line-up of ROAR B2B events dedicated to the environment and waste management sectors.
ROAR B2B says it is fully committed to ensuring that WWEM Expo’s commitment to monitoring remains a top priority. Monitoring has always been central to the event, and under ROAR B2B’s leadership, it will continue to receive the attention and resources necessary.
To reinforce this commitment and ensure that advancements in the field are continuously celebrated, the organiser has announced that this year’s must-attend Environmental Monitoring Awards and gala dinner will take place on the evening of the trade show’s first day, September 17th. Additionally, a newly formed steering committee has been established with the objective of enhancing the networking experience at the awards, creating even greater opportunities for collaboration and engagement among participants.
This year’s WWEM Expo will feature new theatres dedicated to monitoring, showcasing the latest advancements and best practices in the field. These theatres will provide attendees with new insights and discussion, as well as more opportunities to engage with industry leaders and experts.
Co-location with six events
The upcoming WWEM Expo will now take place alongside six other renowned ROAR B2B exhibitions, creating new and significant opportunities for exhibitors and visitors.
As part of a larger environmental network, Water, Wastewater and Environmental Monitoring Expo is merging with ROAR B2B’s Water Resource Management Expo and will now be known simply as WWEM Expo. This event will be co-located with the Environment Services and Solutions Expo, Air Quality and Emissions Expo, Energy Fuels Decarbonisation Expo, Resource and Waste Management Expo, Geo Technical Engineering and Operations Expo, and Contamination and Land Remediation Expo.
By co-locating with ROAR B2B’s other environmental events, WWEM Expo attendees will benefit from increased networking opportunities, cross-industry collaboration, and access to a broader spectrum of businesses and professionals within the environmental sector. ROAR B2B says this integration will enhance WWEM’s reach and impact, solidifying its position as one of the most established gatherings for professionals in water and environmental monitoring.
App
The organiser has also announced that an app will be available to attendees and exhibitors that offers a meeting system, allowing attendees and exhibitors to book face-to-face meetings with each other, significantly increasing networking potential. The app also includes a lead scanner for all exhibitors, enabling them to scan visitors’ badges and secure their information for follow-ups. This feature streamlines the lead collection process, helping exhibitors connect with potential clients more effectively.
Exhibiting
While the floor plan has been almost entirely replicated to ensure a familiar experience for returning attendees, participants will also have the exciting opportunity to explore additional shows within the same layout, enhancing their overall experience and access to industry leaders and experts.
Six months on since the acquisition, the organiser says that WWEM Expo has seen increased interest from major corporations, leading associations and key figures in the sector, reinforcing the show’s vital role in the future of water and environmental management. ROAR B2B believes that with the backing of a trusted, reputable, and forward-thinking events company, WWEM Expo is now set for a period of significant growth and expansion.
With 52% of exhibitors already re-booked for WWEM Expo 2025, and an average stand size increase of 24%, companies are doubling down on their presence to leverage new market opportunities.
“We are incredibly excited about the future of WWEM Expo” said Mark Gordon, Event Director at ROAR B2B. “This acquisition ensures that WWEM Expo continues to thrive, innovate, and serve as a key meeting place for professionals dedicated to water, wastewater, and environmental monitoring. We look forward to welcoming new and returning exhibitors and visitors to an even bigger and better WWEM Expo.”
WWEM Expo will take place 17-18 September 2025 at the NEC, Birmingham.
