Avove appointed to deliver Yorkshire Water’s Developer Services AMP8 Framework

Infrastructure and engineering company Avove has been appointed to deliver Yorkshire Water’s Developer Services during the AMP8 period 2025-2029. 

After a robust procurement process, Avove has been appointed as the delivery partner for Yorkshire Water’s Developer Services for the next four years, with a potential four-year extension. The framework involves provisions for domestic and commercial customers, ranging from new supply offerings for domestic customers to the installation of infrastructure to support new developments.

The contract covers all operational activity for both commercial and domestic developer services customers, with an emphasis on improving customer service. The contract is valued at approximately £95 million over the eight-year period.

Avove will enhance collaboration within this service with regional developers, ensuring a strong focus on customer services and Yorkshire Water Developer Services Measure Experience (D-MeX) throughout the framework term. Avove’s commitment to developer satisfaction, combined with its excellent operational, health and safety, and environmental performance will create an ideal platform for delivering outstanding services to all developers across the Yorkshire Region.

Agility will be a key aspect of this service, addressing market demands while maintaining strong operational performance. Avove’s geographical location supports this goal, and it will continue to pursue value and synergies with other regions.

The announcement comes after a series of significant strategic wins for AMP8+ (water) and RIIO-ED2 (power) framework contracts for Avove across England, Scotland, and Wales. These achievements, alongside existing customer growth, have resulted in Avove doubling in size since its formation in 2022.
