Lords Environment and Climate Change Committee to hear from DEFRA Minister

The House of Lords Environment and Climate Change Committee will hear from The Rt Hon Steve Reed MP, Secretary of State, Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, on Wednesday 27 November.

The session will take place from 10am and can be followed live or afterwards on Parliament TV or in person in the Palace of Westminster (committee room 3).

Questions from the committee will cover the following areas:

  • resourcing and budgets;
  • farming schemes and incentives;
  • competing priorities across government departments;
  • environmental targets;
  • adaptation;
  • pollution of water and soil;
  • water security.
