Water (Special Measures) Bill – just the first step required to address water sector failure, says Alastair Chisholm, Policy Director at CIWEM

A Water Vlog, with Phil Alsop, Editor of Water Magazine

Alastair Chisholm, Policy Director at CIWEM, highlights the many issues which need to be addressed in a water sector which is not adequately future proofed and lacks the necessary resilience in the face of the nature and climate emergency.

Alastair explains why it is therefore imperative that the forthcoming review of water governance must have an independent chair, be driven from the top of government and look across all government responsibilities and policies that impact on water or are dependent on a healthy water environment.
