New senior appointments at South Staffordshire Plc

South Staffordshire Plc, the UK integrated services group that operates two regulated water companies and also offers a range of services and products to essential services operators and markets, has announced two new senior appointments.

Joel Stevens joins the Group as Managing Director of OnSite, South Staffordshire Plc’s sewage, drain and rail specialist, having previously been at utilities and low carbon infrastructure management business MUJV, where he was MD. Before this, Joel held senior roles at Veolia Water UK and May Gurney Utilities, which has since been acquired by the Kier Group. Joel brings extensive experience in operations, commercial strategy, and business development which will be instrumental in driving OnSite’s continued success and expansion.

The Group also welcomes Steve Smith in the new role of Director of Strategy and Investor Relations. Steve previously worked at water2business, where he led business development and account management, as well as their ESG agenda for the last 3 years. Before this, he had a long career in financial services in multiple leadership roles focused on delivering profitable growth and positive customer outcomes. Steve will support the pace of progression across the Group’s balanced scorecard and be instrumental in maintaining a unified relationship with investors.
