Budding professionals can now call upon new HSE and environmental jargon-busting guides

New guides have been launched by RRC International, designed to demystify confusing HSE and environmental terminology for new professionals and global teams.

The first two guides, Health and Safety Terminology and Environmental Terminology, are now available to download as an eBook or order in print.

Each guide contains:

  • An introduction to health and safety/environmental terminology
  • Full glossary of terms and their definitions
  • Recommended further reading

Both guides have been designed for anyone looking for clear, easy-to-understand information, whether you’re just beginning your health and safety career, work in a relevant industry but have limited knowledge, or are a trained practitioner looking to easily communicate HSE or environmental information with other colleagues.

These guides are the first in RRC’s new series, with more due to be published over the year.

Richard Stockley, Managing Director of RRC, says:

“For those just starting out in their career, it can be daunting getting to grips with all the industry’s legislation and terms, particularly within HSE. This is even more challenging for global teams where phrases can easily be lost in translation. Our new range of accessible, quick reference guides looks to address this and help make the transition into the industry as easy as possible. Each of our guides have been designed to easily explain some of the more technical aspects of the industry, so learners can feel more confident as they become diligent HSE professionals.

“These first two guides are just the beginning, with more due to be released later this year touching upon themes like mental health and vulnerable workers. So, if you’re just getting started in the industry and are looking for advice and guidance from one of the UK’s leading HSE training providers, watch this space!”
