Senior appointment supports manufacturer’s focus on water supply systems

Polypipe Building Services has appointed a new senior product manager to drive innovation, product strategy and environmental transparency across their extensive portfolio.

Giles Coombes joined the Genuit Group in 2018 and has worked across both Polypipe Building Products and Polypipe Civils & Green Urbanisation in a product management capacity. He brings a wealth of commercial and technical knowledge of water supply and drainage systems.

“With the recent expansion of MecFlow Supply Systems portfolio, we can now provide a more comprehensive solution to our customers, from plant room to apartment while also providing bespoke solutions through our specialist Advantage prefabricated design and installation service”.

The MecFlow portfolio comprises of two, WRAS approved, supply systems. MecFlow Fusion is a leading multi-layer, PP-RCT pipe, with a material formulation designed for strength and durability. It has a fire classification rating of B-s1, d0*, making it the ideal solution for hospitals, multi-occupancy and high-rise building projects. MecFlow Press is a complete multi-layer composite pipe and fittings range from 16 – 32mm that’s been specifically engineered for local potable, hot & cold plumbing and heating applications such as apartments. This combination now enables Polypipe Building Services to offer an holistic, fully approved, water supply system with superior operational reliability and strength.
