Landmark for Borger pump in abrasive brewery application

A rotary lobe Borger pump with duplex stainless-steel casing, has completed a decade of service at a major brewery.

In an extremely abrasive application that filters out yeast and turbidity from beer, the 10-year-old Borger pump transfers liquid containing diatomite.

In a three-stage process, including separation via a centrifuge and filtration through cellulose layers, the Borger pump handles 20% dissolved solids at 15-20 m³/h.

Easy to service with its Maintenance-In-Place design, the robust, high-performance pump is fitted with replaceable casing protection plates and liners.
