The new SLT at the Vp plc subsidiary, which supplies industry, construction and homeowners across the UK, has been recruited by Mark Hamilton, Brandon Hire Station’s new managing director.

Mark joined the business in July and took over as MD in September 2023. He has 30 years of rental industry experience as both a plant and fleet expert with Tier 1 contractors, and as a rental supplier, with the past 10 years being in MD positions.

His priority is customer satisfaction, adding value, ensuring the business is even easier to trade with, increasing efficiencies and building further on its historic brand and market presence. He is also committed to environmental responsibility and introducing more sustainable products to the hire fleet.

Complementing Mark is Brandon Hire Station former regional director Jon Mugridge who was promoted to director of operations, bringing more than 30 years of team leadership to the table.

In addition, Steve Davies joins Brandon Hire Station as director of sales, with 26 years of diverse experience in the construction industry. From his beginnings as a builder’s merchant, Steve has honed his skills in sales and operations, thriving within global and European PLC environments.

Also joining Brandon Hire Station is Antony Draper as director of SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment and Quality), with 20 years of experience in Health and Safety with blue chip Tier 1 contractors and service providers.

The fifth and final member of the new senior leadership team is director of finance Rich Reed who joins Brandon Hire Station with a ‘Big 4’ background, covering commercial, operational, technical and transformational roles.

Mark said: “This new senior leadership team has been tasked with keeping Brandon Hire Station at the top of the industry sector by introducing innovative products and services as well as providing digital tools, all aimed at helping us deliver an exceptional, added-value experience to our customers.”
