Aliaxis secure framework win to support Scottish Water

Fluid management solutions specialist, Aliaxis UK, has been named as the single-source supplier for all PE Barrier system requirements for Scottish Water for up to the next eight years.

The mandatory framework will see Aliaxis UK supply its BS 8588 kitemarked Protecta-Line PE Barrier System as the complete system for mandatory use in barrier applications across Scottish Water’s Repairs & Maintenance and Capital Projects, in line with Water for Scotland Regulations v4.0.

Products covered following the commercial tender include barrier pipe, compression fittings, mechanical fittings and ferrule offtakes.

Julian Bannerman, Business Development Director at Aliaxis UK, said:

“We look forward to supporting Scottish Water and their contractors for the duration of the framework and developing our relationship for many years to come.

“Our Protecta-Line range has a reputation as a market leader – it’s the original barrier pipe system with over 25 years of product evolution and development in order to maintain the highest standards.”
