Continued expansion for Lutz in the UK

Lutz UK Limited recently moved into much larger premises as a result of continued expansion in the UK.

The 6500 square foot property on the new Loades Ecoparc estate in Coventry is more than double the size of their previous building. This is the third time in five years the company has had to double property size to cope with growth.

The new premises allows for more stock to be held, better facilities for staff, a dedicated pump training zone and room for continued expansion.

Lutz, a family company established by Karl Lutz in Germany in 1954, is one of the leading manufacturers of drum pumps, with six subsidiaries and representatives in over 80 countries.

The new facility was opened by Heinz Lutz, who also took the opportunity to congratulate Julie McAuley for her 30 years of service and Shelly Crossingham for fifteen.

UK Managing Director, Tosh Singh, said:

“I’m thrilled with the expansion we’ve experienced so far in the UK. In the last few years the world has faced many challenges, and in business we’ve had to contend with both the global challenges but also the more local changes within the UK and how it operates with Europe. To be doing so successfully in such challenging times is a testimony to a great team with a desire to succeed and a passion to do their very best, supported wholeheartedly by a great company.”

Group CEO, Heinz Lutz, commented:

“We are convinced that the success which we have enjoyed over many years is based on the wealth of ideas and motivation of our employees. They are the pillars and the most important asset of our company. Qualified and highly motivated, they make their own personal contribution to business success. This performance and our team spirit have made us strong and fit for new challenges. To permanently promote and develop this potential is our goal in the future.”
