Steve Vick International celebrates grand opening of new Slough depot with open days

Steve Vick International (SVI), has announced the official opening of its new Slough depot. To commemorate the opening, SVI hosted four open days for the London CMO, along with numerous LDPs from the region including JDT Utilities and Gas Flow, and major water contractors including Clancy.

The open days offered a unique opportunity for attendees to gain insights into SVI’s local capabilities and support for gas and water mains replacement schemes.

Throughout the open days, SVI’s Senior Management and technical teams provided attendees with a comprehensive business update and an overview of their latest innovations in gas and water mains replacement. Attendees also had the opportunity to witness live demonstrations of cutting-edge tools and techniques, including the PE Cutter for precise and safe cutting of large-diameter PE Pipe and the Perpetual Pipe Pusher, a digger attachment used to continuously insert PE ranging from diameters off 63mm up to 180mm at speeds of up to 25 metres per minute.

“Our new Slough depot is a testament to our ongoing commitment to growth and our dedication to meeting the evolving needs of our customers,” said Crock Harrison, Managing Director of Steve Vick International. “With our expanding network of depots, we are better equipped than ever to provide local training & servicing, a fast response, emergency repairs, and a 24/7 rapid call-out service.”

In addition to Slough, the company operates depots in Wiltshire, Essex, Kingswinford, Blaydon-On-Tyne, and Leigh.
