MCS Control Systems becomes part of the Lintott brand

Galliford Try has announced that its MCS Control Systems business, a leading systems integrator to the industrial and utilities sectors, is becoming part of the existing Lintott brand.

The enlarged Lintott business will operate as part of the Environment division’s recently-created Water Technologies business stream, with a focus on advanced equipment manufacturing that yields higher profit margins and incorporates cutting-edge technology.

The MCS acquisition last year brought highly complementary capabilities to those of the Group’s existing Lintott business, which had itself been acquired as part of the nmcn water business in October 2021.

Both MCS and Lintott operations will now merge and operate under the Lintott banner bringing together both teams and their mix of products and services under the existing operational footprint. Both Coventry and Norwich facilities will continue to operate, and will importantly, share expertise and best practice, which will provide the basis for ongoing business growth and development, and providing clients with industry-defining solutions.

Steve Slessor, Managing Director for Galliford Try’s Environment business, said:

“This rebrand represents yet another milestone in the progression of our Sustainable Growth Strategy, which has seen our Environment business become the leading provide to the water sector.

“This is a very exciting period for our business as we continue to evolve our capability in off-site build, capital maintenance and asset optimisation, allowing us to share best practice and benefit from the expertise of both businesses and build on our unique position to support our clients deliver the UK’s water needs through the improved resilience, efficiency and optimisation of their assets.”
