Everflow appoints director of waste services to drive growth of multi-utility offering

Everflow, the UK’s fastest growing water supplier and the first to go carbon neutral, has announced the appointment of Elliot Harrison-Holt to the role of director of waste services to aid the delivery of its multi-utility growth plans.

Everflow marked the first step in its expansion plan to offer multiple utility services to the SME business market in 2022, applying its technology and sustainability-driven approach to the commercial waste management market. Everflow achieved significant growth in the B2B water market last year and in the final quarter, increased run rates year-over-year by 85%.

In this newly created role, Elliot will support the continuation of this trend, holding responsibility for delivering Everflow’s ambitious expansion plans within the waste sector.

Alongside a wealth of industry expertise, Elliot has a track record of delivering significant growth, establishing and scaling new businesses and sites.

Elliot started his career at Recycling Lives, where he quickly rose up the ranks from Commercial Manager to Head of New Business, before being appointed Managing Director of Recycling Lives Environmental Services. During his time at Recycling Lives, Elliot successfully grew revenues, drove new opportunities through mergers and acquisitions and secured and managed multimillion pound deals in both the private and public sector.

Elliot serves as Non-Executive Director at Blackpool Waste Services Ltd which delivers kerbside waste collection services and manages Household Waste Recycling Centres on behalf of Blackpool Council. In this role, Elliot is responsible for holding the board accountable for effectively delivering the businesses strategy.

Based in the North East of England, Everflow is providing environmentally friendly waste management and disposal services, with a promise of transparent pricing and a digital-first customer experience. Everflow aims to make waste management simpler, cheaper and more sustainable for SME businesses nationwide, launching with an initial offering of cardboard, mixed glass, general and food waste services.

Josh Gill, CEO and Founder of Everflow, commented:

“Everflow’s water offering has been a huge success among the business market due to its use of technology and focus on customer service. It makes sense for us to expand and apply our knowledge and experience to other utilities. The launch of our waste services offering is the first step in achieving our multi-utility ambition. Elliot has demonstrated an exceptional ability to develop high performing teams to excel during periods of growth, making him the perfect fit as we accelerate our growth plans. I am thrilled to welcome him to the team and the expertise he will bring to help realise our vision.”

Elliot Harrison-Holt, Waste Services Director, adde:

Now is a really exciting time for Everflow as it establishes its multi-utility offering. My experience as both an operator and a broker equipped me with an understanding of the operational and regulatory challenges the industry faces, putting Everflow in good stead as it expands its waste offering. I’ve seen first-hand the impact a technology-led approach can have on simplifying the customer experience and reducing friction. This customer-first approach is a passion I share with Everflow. There is huge potential in the waste sector and I am thrilled to be part of the team spearheading this venture as Everflow accelerates its growth strategy.”
