SAVECO move to larger premises to ‘future-proof’ the company after sustained growth

As part of the company’s growth strategy, SAVECO Environmental Limited has announced the move to new, much larger premises.

The company took possession of the new property, which is double the size of their previous one, in January this year.

Commenting on the move, UK Municipal Wastewater Sector Manager Craig Webb said:

“We’re growing in both size and reputation, so we had to move to ensure we could future-proof the company. We needed somewhere that could accommodate an expanding team.”

Craig adds: “We also wanted extra warehouse capacity for the ability to hold more stock. Many industries around the world are being affected by longer lead times, but some of the markets we work in are particularly hit. We wanted the ability to provide solutions within hours rather than days. Reducing lead times will allow us to help our industries in a very practical way.”

SAVECO currently supplies industrial and municipal wastewater treatment, farming and biogas equipment and is a member of the globally operating WAMGROUP.

Last year the company announced the innovative VFA DM Septage Receiving Station, nicknamed the ‘Beast’, which is due to be trialled at Yorkshire Water’s Woodhouse Mill treatment works. The Beast has already had unprecedented success in the US market, and has been hailed by some as a ‘gamechanger’ for sludge treatment.

SAVECO’s Managing Director, Jon Goddard, said:

“This is an exciting new step for SAVECO in the UK. The growth we’re experiencing across all our sectors is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the team here. To be at the spearhead of the innovation we’re witnessing is a great privilege.”
