SUEZ and Southern Water Services Ltd have announced a formal agreement to monitor greenhouse gas emissions as the water utility company moves closer towards its net zero 2030 target.
Southern Water Services Ltd, one of the largest water and wastewater companies in southeast England, has secured the services of SUEZ to support net zero targets by monitoring and quantifying greenhouse gas process emissions. Southern Water has committed to deliver SUEZ’s services at three wastewater treatment facilities: Canterbury, Motney Hill, and Peel Common. This marks the first ever collaboration between the two groups on air quality management.
SUEZ will be providing Southern Water valuable insights by providing a detailed account of its greenhouse gas footprint thanks to its innovative AirAdvanced®-SCAN360 suite. AirAdvanced®-SCAN360 is a complete innovative air quality service designed to monitor, diagnose, and help plan improvements to reduce greenhouse gas outputs, all hazardous contributors to climate change, such as nitrous oxide (N2O) and methane (CH4) at each of the selected sites.
