South West Water expands use of WorkMobile’s data capture solution

South West Water is expanding its use of WorkMobile’s award-winning data capture solution throughout its organisation.

From customers receiving reports within a few minutes of completion, to the ability to record site inspections, time sheets and surveys within a single app, WorkMobile has impressed the utilities provider by transforming its methods of data collection and field service operations.

Witnessing how team productivity and service efficiency have significantly improved since implementing this technology, South West Water is increasingly leaning on WorkMobile as its go-to tech partner for front facing new projects and challenges throughout the organisation.

As the application doesn’t need to integrate with the firm’s existing systems, WorkMobile is able to rapidly respond to new features requested by the firm, such as the ability to design workflows to build end-to-end processes to be utilised by both field and office-based users.

For these employees, the key benefits lie in its ease of use and data extraction, the ability to utilise the application whilst offline, and the quality of support available. Using a digital form to capture this information also reduces the risk of South West Water’s essential data being lost or incorrectly captured.

A South West Water spokesperson said:

“Since expanding the use of WorkMobile’s application throughout our network, we’ve seen significant increases to the productivity and efficiency of our employees.

“Between the ability to accurately record data, manage events, and create concise reports with speed, we’re excited to see how the extension of the application can encourage further innovation across the organisation.”

Andrew Huntly, CEO at WorkMobile, said:

“Particularly within the utilities industry where site visits and inspections are mandatory, having a central location that houses crucial customer data is not only an essential factor for consistently meeting compliance requirements, but also for maintaining excellent standards and improving productivity.

“It’s great to see that our flexible toolkit has enhanced these crucial processes and the daily impact of South West Water employees. Over the coming year, we look forward to continuing to develop new features to boost efficiencies for the wider South West Water network.”
