VEGA truck hits the road again

VEGA TRUCK UK TOUR March 21st - April 8th 2022

The VEGATRUCK ‘on the road’ customer training facility is returning to the UK for 3 weeks and 6 visits from March 21 to April 8 this year.

After a curtailed visit in early 2020, it is stopping and revisiting a number of venues where customers are welcome to come along and visit. These are local to Grimsby, Elgin, Grangemouth, Ellesmere Port, Exeter and Bury St Edmonds.

The Truck

In case you haven’t heard, it’s a very impressive American Kenworth W900 truck pulling a specially built and equipped, expanding formula 1 style trailer. The training area room is equipped with a mini training theatre, working instruments, functioning models, housed in a 64mpresentation area.

What’s on board

VEGA’s level and pressure experts are on hand for training, demonstrations and to answer any questions on the full range of products on board. Featuring their range of new 80 GHz process radars, new low cost point-level and pressure sensors, latest battery powered wireless IIoT radar solutions and VIS inventory system. The VEGA Tools App will also be available for a demo of Bluetooth communications, also compatible with instruments from 2002.

COVID measures

The team on board will be testing daily and wearing masks as required. The truck and demo models will be wiped down regularly and hand sanitizer will be available. Whenever possible, air conditioning will be on high and doors will remain open to increase airflow. Flow of visitors and numbers on board at any one time will be controlled to ensure there is space on board to visit.
